If you’ve had a chance to visit our memorial site lately you know there’s been lots happening. Landscaping is being done, benches are being ordered, electrical and security equipment is being installed and more. It has always been our goal to make our memorial a place for all to visit to remember and reflect, and to take time out of our busy lives to be thankful for all we have. We expect more changes to be visible soon, when our tiles begin to be installed on the wall. Every tile placed will represent a child that was lost too soon; a child we will always remember.
Next, June 9th is our “share night” at Culvers on Mormon Coulee Road. Our committee members will be working hard to deliver your meals with a smile! From 5-7 pm that night Culver’s graciously donates a percentage of their proceeds to our project. It’s too hot to cook in June – come grab a burger, some custard, and help us out at the same time!
Our memorial dedication is scheduled for August 30th. All are welcome – family members, friends, donors, community members and more. Food will be available for purchase beginning at 12:30, and the dedication will start at 2:00 pm. More information will be coming soon. Please watch our Facebook page for updates.
We will be having our annual golf outing again this year October 3rd the Ski Hill. This is always a great time and is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Please contact Rick Williams if you are interested. For those of us who don’t golf, there’s still plenty to do – take a chance on a raffle, win a beautiful donated basket, and enjoy lots of laughs with your neighbors!
