Our Angel Has Arrived

This week marked a powerful moment for all of us at A Place for Angels. After months of planning, fundraising, and imagining, the heart of our memorial has finally taken its place: a 5-foot angel statue holding the hands of a little boy and girl now stands at the center of the memorial grounds.

Watching the angel arrive and be carefully set into place was more than just a construction milestone—it was emotional. Quiet tears, long hugs, and moments of reflection surrounded the installation. For many of us, this statue symbolizes the love we carry, the loss we’ve lived through, and the hope that something beautiful can grow from grief.

This group of people were so happy to welcome our angels. The sculpture reflects the spirit of this space: a gentle strength, a presence that brings comfort without needing to speak.

With the angel now in place, the memorial begins to feel whole. It’s becoming the space we envisioned—where families can sit, remember, and know their children are not forgotten.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring this vision to life. There’s still more to do, but today, we pause in gratitude.
